Mepu Oy offers a conveying solution for all stages of grain handling. With our equipment the grains are transferred secured and effectively as well vertically as on the wished angle of ascent.

Heavy effectiveness for professionals Mepu screws are available both pulling and extruding. The sizes vary from 3,5 m/2,2 kW to 12,5 m/5,5 kW. Power transmission with safe V-belts and the heavy construction of galvanised (5”) or acid-proof (6”) and (8”) steel. The delivery includes a motor (1500 r/min) with cable coupler, drive end with power transmission parts assembled as well as screw in 1 – 2 metre parts. The delivery of an extruding screw also includes a loading chute of 110 litres with grating. The well-adapted, capped bearings on both ends guarantee carefree usage. Mepu screws are durable even in heavy use. Powerful motors Well-adapted, strong motors (2,2 – 5,5 kW) function well even in continuous usage. Adequate dimensioning and heavy structure also enable significant conveying speed which is appr. 20 – 45 t/h depending on the ascending angle and drill size. Easy to use Despite of their heavy structure Mepu screws are easy to handle and use. The low gravity point and standard wheels of the extruding screw make it easy to move. The pulling screws can also be equipped with a closed infeed which e.g. diminishes the dusting and helps to achieve a continuous transferring process.

Horizontal conveyors

For horizontal or only slightly ascending or downward angled (+/- 5-10) conveying there are Mepu U-screws. Transferring capacities vary from 25 to 50 t/h. Both pulling and extruding versions available.

Strong, galvanised structure

The conveyor tray is made of galvanised steel in 1 – 2 metres parts. There are adjustable supporting bearings with 2 metres spacing in the screws.

Closable outlets can be situated in U-screws in required spots. The outlet ports are always finished at the site. The delivery always includes secure V-belt drive, electric motor with cable coupler, loading and discharging units, bearings, drills, conveyor trays, tray covers and other parts of the power transmission.
